We’ve all looked at a companies reviews before we use their services or buy their products. It’s natural to want to make sure that the company you are dealing with has a good reputation.
Especially if you are leaving your pets with them!
And when it comes to reviews we tend to believe the word of a customer about how amazing the companies services are over the company themselves.
THIS is why getting customer reviews is so important and why you should be making sure they are scattered throughout your marketing.
Make it easy for customers to realise how amazing you are by making your reviews visible to everyone – and in lots of different places.
How To Use Customer Reviews In Your Marketing
#1. Home Page
Most people have customer reviews on their home page – it’s probably the most obvious place to put them.
But not every person finds your company via the home page. That’s why it’s so important to make sure you use them in lots of different places.
And if you are putting them on your home page I would encourage you include a picture of the person giving you the review.
#2. Services Pages
Once on your website most people head straight to your service pages to see what you have to offer. So it makes sense to include reviews that relate to that service on those pages.
For example, on your Dog Walking page include reviews from your dog walking clients.
This means when someone is reading about that service they have a customer telling them exactly how amazing you are at that particular service.
#3. Social Media
So many of your ideal customers are on social media so it makes sense to share the amazing words from your customers on social media.
Canva is a great place to create graphics that you can share on your social media channels.
Keep them nice and simple and on brand….and make them part of your weekly marketing schedule.
#4. Email Marketing
Why not include your new customer reviews each week in your email marketing.
You could include them in your newsletter or maybe on the bottom of emails you send out to potential clients.
The more people see these reviews the more likely they are to use you services.
#5. Blog Posts/Ebooks
Much like you can include reviews in your service pages you could include them in relevant blog posts.
For example, if you were answering a question about your cat sitting service and you had an amazing review about how great you are at keeping their cats litter area clean – then this could work really well in the blog post.
Same with Ebooks – if you have a book about your services then make sure you include lots of lovely reviews.
