It’s crazy how quickly 2016 has flown by and now I am here talking about marketing your pet business in 2017. It only feels 5 minutes ago since I was talking about 2016 marketing, setting goals and making sure you attracted as many of your ideal clients in 2016 as you could.
Wherever you are at this point of the year it’s important to end the year with a bang and set yourself up for a very profitable start to 2017.
Sometimes I think we are inclined to get through Christmas and plan to get our planning done in January. When really we should be doing it now so that we can hit the ground running in January and get a head of the competition.
Who Am I?
Before you read on let me tell you a little about me. I own a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking business in Ireland. Since I started my business in late 2010 I have been a HUGE lover of Blogging and Social Media. Through this I have turned an idea of walking dogs into a business that I have expanded across all of Ireland and recently Franchised, bringing on and training our first group of Franchisees this year.
I have spoken on stages about my success, been featured on Podcasts to talk about my strategies and more recently appeared on a well known marketing blog to tell my story.
I don’t say this to brag – If you knew me you would know I am the least likely person to brag.
However I do want you to understand that I know what I am talking about and have put everything I teach into action on a daily basis.
I have also put all this into a membership site called the Pawsome Academy.
So how can I help you with your 2017 Marketing for just 54 cent per day?
#1. Firstly lets talk Christmas Marketing
Now is the time to start planning your Christmas marketing and make sure you have everything set up and ready before you get into the crazy busy holiday season.
That means looking at what you are going to post and share on your social pages and how you are going to make your ideal customers fall in love with you.
In the membership site I have added the following to help you with your Christmas marketing

#2. Create A 2017 Marketing Plan
I know that creating a Marketing Plan can be hard. Coming up with new ideas and knowing how to lay everything out can seem like a huge task. But if you leave this to January to do then you will lose nearly all of January before you get started on it. That’s one twelfth of the earning potential for the year in new business!
Instead what I can help you with is:
- A guide to create your plan – a step by step workbook on what to do and where to add it on your planner.
- Suggestions on what to include for every part of the marketing plan each month.
- Competition ideas that will get you noticed.
- Social media post ideas – with free images you can download and use on your own Facebook page.
- Ebook ideas that will help you grow your list.
- Ongoing support with my 4 part approach to marketing.
- Access to me in my Private Facebook Group.
