Why You Should Be Marketing Your Business Every Day (Even If You Are Fully Booked)
#1. Not Everyone Needs Your Services Today
Not everyone that sees your marketing messages needs your services today – but they might do in the future. So even if you are fully booked today, you still want them to see your marketing for their vacation booking in 2 months times.
And if you are booked up for Dog Walking services then why not start a wait list for people – let them know when you are available.
One thing that Covid has taught us that things change – so you never know when people are going to cancel/change their plans.
#2. Showing Up Consistently Every Day Builds Trust
We get to care for the animals that some people love more than humans! So the person hiring you needs to trust you, and trust takes time to build.
Showing up every day in your content allows potential customers to see that you are here for the long haul. That you are a proper business and that you love and care for pets.
Remember, most of the time, people are checking out your website and social channels a long time before they decide to use your services and so it will help them make a decision if they keep seeing your content.
#3. Helps You Stay Top Of Mind
If potential customers keep seeing your blog posts and social media updates then it’s more likely that when they need a service like yours they will think of you first. People need to see the same messages plenty of times before they take action and contact you/buy your products.
“The Marketing Rule of 7 states that a prospect needs to “hear” the advertiser’s message at least 7 times before they’ll take action to buy that product or service.”
So if those stats are correct you can see why you need to be marketing every day – not just when you decide you need more customers.

The more time you spend building relationships with customers online the more likely they are to remember you when they are looking for services OR they know someone else that is.
You must have heard the phrase ‘people buy from people’ – well it’s so true. You can probably think of lots of times you have bought something because you liked the person that was selling it – you had a relationship with them.
#5. Educational Content Shows You Are An Authority In What You Do
If you are consistently creating blog content that shows your expertise around pet care then you will quickly become known as a pet care expert.
People will see that you are educated in what you do and want to consume more of your content and will begin to look to you for answer to their pet care questions.
