The 3 Most Important Pages On Your Website

It’s likely that you didn’t just set up your website last week and that you have been using your current website for a long time. But when was the last time that you stopped to look what kind of experience your customers are having when they come onto your website.

It’s a proven statistic that 70% of people make a buying decision when they come on to your website before they even think about contacting you, so you want your website to be working for you in the right way.

Are you making it clear where information about your services is located? Is it easy to find a way to contact you? Are you telling people (and showing them) who you are and what makes you awesome?

There are 3 pages on your website that should be in tip top shape to make sure that you are helping potential customers to do business with you.

The 3 Most Important Pages On Your Website

About Us/Team Pages

We are so blessed that we are in a business where we get to take care of gorgeous pets all day. People give us the keys to their home and trust us daily with their fur babies – something we can’t take lightly.

But are you letting your potential customers see who you are as soon as they come onto your website.

Do you have pictures of yourself, information about your story and your passion for your business? Do you have a video of you talking about you/your services?

If I was giving you the keys to my home I would love to see a video and picture of you before I contacted you. This would make you stand out over other service providers.

Services Pages

If you don’t make it clear to a website visitor how you can help them then you are making it very hard for them to choose to use your services.

A page for each of your services is much better for SEO and also makes it easier for someone to go straight to the information they are looking for.

If I am a cat person I don’t want to have to read down through the dog walking information to be able to find out how you can take care of my cat. I just want to go straight to the Cat Services information.

Be clear on your services page what you do, how you can help me and my pets and how I can get in touch with you.

Make it easy for people.

Contact Us

You would be surprised how many websites don’t make it easy for visitors to get in touch. Don’t make it hard for people to find your contact form. Make sure you are linking to the contact form from all of your pages so that when someone has read what you do then the next obvious thing for them to do is make contact with you.

Give people your phone number so they can call you – people often prefer to just pick up the phone and talk to a real person.

If you want people to book online without speaking to you then make sure you tell them that. People really do need to be guided through the process.

What Next?

Take a look over your website and make sure that it is easy to use and that you are helping people choose to use your services.

It’s good to review your website on a regular basis and update/improve it where necessary.
