How To Get The Most Out Of The Pet Business Owners Marketing Planner
If you do have the planner then here are some tips to get the most out of it. And if you haven’t grabbed the planner yet then this will give you an idea of how you can use it if you do decide to invest in your business.
#1. Set Time Aside To Schedule & Create Content
If you let the planner get dusty and don’t open it then it won’t work for you. The people that get the best results from the planner are those that use it regularly.
So that involves setting some time aside each week/month (depending on your schedule) and working on creating content and scheduling posts.
This can be done very quickly and easily if you use a scheduling software.
Top Tip: If you are super busy and can’t find time to do this weekly then just make sure you have the planner with you on your phone and when you get 5 minutes waiting in line for a coffee then schedule your social media post for the day.
#2. Decide On a Style For Your Posts
Do you have a favourite social media account that you love? One that always has nicely created social media graphics?
Well wouldn’t you like your social media to feel like this for someone else when they looked at it?
Something that they recognise immediately and love – as being you!
To get started on creating something like this you need to decide the following:
- The style you want – For example, are you going to have a simple text design or more cartoon style graphics
- The colours you want to use
- The fonts you will use
- And the general overall feel of it
If you create a few different styles of posts on something like Canva then you can re use them for all different types of posts – while maintaining that brand look and feel.
#3. Make Time To Engage On Social Media
This is by far one of the most important things on social media. If you aren’t growing your account and engaging with your followers your account will be very stagnant.
So make sure you set time aside each day to engage with your followers.
Facebook – Reply to comments and invite people to like you page
Instagram – Regularly take time to follow people, like their posts and comment on them.
#4. Utilise The Private Facebook Group
I created a Facebook Group for the planner so you could get help from me.
Make sure you check in regularly and if you are struggling with anything just ask!
Those people who get involved with the planner group tend to get the best results.
If you don’t use everything in the planner then that’s ok. Even if you only use 50% of it you would still get amazing results.
